Optiver’s Software Developer Intern program offers a hands-on, immersive experience in a fast-paced trading environment. You’ll work with senior engineers to build latency-sensitive components and gain exposure to exchange protocols, pricing models, and automated strategies.

Across the 10-week program, you’ll receive mentorship, training, and real projects that contribute to our markets. Strong performance could lead to a full-time graduate opportunity.

Qualifications

• Penultimate university student applying for a software development internship.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and development concepts; technical assessment includes C++, Java or Python.
• Interest in building high-performance, low-latency systems for trading.

Responsabilités

• Develop latency-critical components and protocol encoders/decoders with engineers.
• Collaborate with traders to improve automated trading strategies and pricing models.
• Own a tight feedback loop, test and ship code to production.
• Participate in workshops, mentoring, and trader training as part of the program.
