Job summary

Dragonfly Shipping Pty Ltd in Brisbane (Salisbury) is seeking hands-on Operations Support Team Members to join our fast-paced logistics hub. You will assist with daily deliveries, liaise with drivers and partners, prepare loads, and support customer updates from our delivery centre.

Schedule: Tue–Sat, 7:00am–1:00pm; growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company. The role emphasizes autonomy, on-the-ground problem solving, and proactive communication to keep packages moving smoothly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and assist with package tracking and processing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of parcels.
• Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
• Liaise with the call centre to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on-the-ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
• Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day-to-day operations across the delivery centre.
• Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records through data entry and escalate issues to Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.
