Job summary

Dragonfly Shipping is seeking an Operations Support team member for our Pemulwuy delivery hub in Sydney. You will assist with package flow, prepare daily loads, coordinate with drivers and delivery partners, and provide on-the-ground support. The role requires hands-on experience in warehouse or operations, strong customer service, and clear communication.

You will liaise with the call centre and help keep the site running smoothly. Schedule: 5:30am to 1:30pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and assisting with package tracking and processing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of parcels.
• Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
• Liaise with the call center to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on‑the‑ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
• Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day‑to‑day operations across the delivery centre.
• Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records through data entry and escalate any issues or special cases to Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.
