Job summary

Dragonfly is hiring two Operations Support Team Members for the Caloundra delivery hub on the Sunshine Coast. This hands‑on role focuses on coordinating daily delivery operations and preparing loads to keep packages moving.

You will work Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00pm–10:00pm, liaising with drivers and partners, assisting with unloading and loadout, and supporting the sortation team during peak periods. Dragonfly offers an award hourly rate and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Customer service oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and tracking packages.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages and returns to ensure smooth flow.
• Coordinate with Drivers and Delivery Partners to loadout and resolve delivery issues.
• Assist customers with updates via phone or email as needed.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and escalate issues as required.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading and keep the work area safe and organized.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a hands‑on Operations Support team members to join our Caloundra delivery hub. If you've got experience working in a warehouse or operations environment and are confident liaising with drivers, coordinating deliveries, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the role for you.

You will be the go‑to person for supporting the flow of packages in and out of the site, helping to prepare daily loads, coordinating with delivery partners, supporting drivers on the road, and jumping in where needed to keep everything moving efficiently. You'll also work autonomously to ensure issues are flagged early and resolved quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and assisting with package tracking and processing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of parcels.
• Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
• Liaise with the call center to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on‑the‑ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
• Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day‑to‑day operations across the delivery centre.
• Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
• Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Keep accurate records through data entry and escalates any issues or special cases to Supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in an operations, transport or warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.
