Job summary

MCM Logistics is a hands-on warehousing and distribution provider based in Australia, delivering end-to-end logistics solutions for diverse clients. This role combines administration with day-to-day operations in a busy warehouse environment, interacting with drivers, transport providers, and customers.

We are seeking a practical, organized team member who thrives in a fast-paced setting, with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in logistics.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in logistics, 3PL, freight, or warehouse operations.
• Good understanding of warehouse, transport, and logistics processes.
• Very comfortable with IT and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management, with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Forklift license (LF) is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily deliveries and shipments between warehouses, customers, and transport providers.
• Speak with transport companies and 3PL partners to book, confirm, and track deliveries.
• Check and process shipping documents such as manifests, proof of delivery, and purchase orders.
• Check stock levels and help the warehouse team fix stock issues.
• Organize bookings and schedules for incoming and outgoing goods.
• Keep an eye out for delays or problems and raise them early so they can be fixed quickly.
• Prepare simple reports and track delivery and service performance.
• Help with picking and packing in the warehouse as required.
