Qualifications

• At least 1 year in logistics, 3PL, freight, or warehouse operations.
• Good understanding of warehouse, transport, and logistics processes.
• Very comfortable with IT and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management, with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Forklift license (LF) is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily deliveries and shipments between warehouses, customers, and transport providers.
• Speak with transport companies and 3PL partners to book, confirm, and track deliveries.
• Check and process shipping documents such as manifests, proof of delivery, and purchase orders.
• Check stock levels and help the warehouse team fix stock issues.
• Organize bookings and schedules for incoming and outgoing goods.
• Keep an eye out for delays or problems and raise them early so they can be fixed quickly.
• Prepare simple reports and track delivery and service performance.
• Help with picking and packing in the warehouse as required.

MCM Logistics is an Australian-based 3PL provider delivering end-to-end warehousing, transport, and distribution solutions for clients across a range of industries.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves a mix of administration and day-to-day operations, working closely with the MCM team, drivers, transport providers, and occasionally liaising directly with customers.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is well organized, reliable, comfortable with technology, and enjoys working in a busy team environment.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily deliveries and shipments between warehouses, customers, and transport providers

Speak with transport companies and 3PL partners to book, confirm, and track deliveries

Check and process shipping documents such as manifests, proof of delivery, and purchase orders

Check stock levels and help the warehouse team fix any stock issues

Organize bookings and schedules for incoming and outgoing goods

Keep an eye out for delays or problems and raise them early so they can be fixed quickly

Prepare simple reports and track delivery and service performance

Look for ways to make logistics processes easier, faster, and more cost-effective

Work closely with the warehouse team to manage pick, pack, and dispatch priorities

Help with picking and packing in the warehouse as required

About you

At least 1 year experience in logistics, 3PL, freight, transport, or warehouse operations or similar

Good understanding of warehouse, transport, and logistics processes

Very comfortable with IT and technology and able to learn new systems quickly

Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills

A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to solve problems before they become bigger issues

Warehouse experience is an advantage

Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Transport Management System (TMS) is an advantage

Forklift license (LF) is an advantage but not essential
