Job summary

G.James Glass and Aluminium is seeking an organised Installation & Dispatch Coordinator to join our Adelaide-based team. The role focuses on coordinating product deliveries and scheduling installations, working with subcontractors and in-house service technicians to meet customer requirements safely and on time.

Reporting to the Operations Team, you will manage installation and dispatch priorities, communicate with customers, and support safety and quality outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating installation, service or field-based teams.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and calm under pressure.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate installation and service teams to deliver work on time and to Australian Standards.
• Coordinate all product pickups, deliveries and transport requirements to meet customer deadlines.
• Liaise closely with customers, production, sales and factory teams to ensure installations and deliveries are completed as scheduled.
• Maintain and update installation and dispatch schedules in line with operational priorities and customer requirements.
• Process picking, shipping and dispatch documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate proactively with customers to manage expectations regarding installation and delivery timeframes.
• Monitor workflow and factory capacity to support efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
• Support quality, safety and compliance outcomes, including Chain of Responsibility, load restraint and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Assist in minimising rework, delivery issues and installation delays while driving positive customer outcomes.
