Job summary

Civilmart and Infrastructure Products Australia (IPA) seeks a Transport Despatch Customer Service Coordinator for our Toowoomba (QLD) precast facility, on a permanent full-time basis, working 7:00am–3:00pm. You will ensure timely product distribution and provide outstanding customer service on order status and quoting.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing/industrial settings and strong communication and organisational skills, with forklift licencing and transport/supply chain

Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing/industrial industry.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Forklift Licence (desirable).
• Qualifications in transport, logistics or supply chain (desirable).
• Strong focus on safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Call customers to coordinate delivery times.
• Coordinate transport carriers and couriers.
• Book freight and plan delivery allocations.
• Raise orders for transport and verify invoices/charges.
• Coordinate despatch forklift operators in daily yard activities.
• Obtain freight quotes when required.
• Issue picking sheets to forklift drivers and complete invoices.
• Coordinate all incoming materials and goods to branches.
• Manage site inventory and stocktake.
• Assist the customer service team as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
