Job summary

CIVILMART is seeking a Customer Service/Despatch Coordinator for our Wodonga site to connect customers with Sales, Production and Transport ensuring on-time delivery. You will manage orders from enquiry to delivery and coordinate daily despatch activities.

The role requires experience in production or similar environments, strong communication, and a proactive approach to service and safety. Forklift or crane tickets are advantageous but not essential.

We are now looking for a Customer Service/Despatch Coordinator to join our Wodonga team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role connecting customers, Sales, Production and Transport to deliver exceptional service and ensure orders are delivered on time.

Job Description

As the Customer Service/Despatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from enquiry through to delivery, while coordinating daily despatch and transport requirements.

Working closely with Sales, Production, Transport and customers, you will ensure orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated efficiently, customer enquiries are resolved promptly, and a high level of service is maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing customer orders, enquiries and quotes

Coordinating daily despatch and delivery requirements

Liaising with customers, drivers, Sales and Production

Monitoring deliveries and resolving service issues

Maintaining accurate order, inventory and dispatch records

Supporting stock control and general branch administration

Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency

Desired Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, civil construction or similar environment

Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach to work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Physically fit and comfortable performing manual and repetitive tasks
