Job summary

Civilmart in Toowoomba (QLD) seeks a Transport Despatch Customer Service Coordinator for a permanent full-time role, working 7:00am–3:00pm at our precast manufacturing facility. You will plan, coordinate and direct product distribution while delivering exceptional customer service on order status and quoting.

The successful candidate will have manufacturing/industrial experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Qualifications in transport, logistics or supply chain desirable.
• Safety conscious and compliant with WHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Call customers to coordinate delivery times.
• Coordinate transport carriers and couriers.
• Book freight and plan delivery allocations.
• Raise orders for transport and verify invoices/charges.
• Coordinate despatch forklift operators in daily yard activities.
• Obtain freight quotes when required.
• Issue picking sheets to forklift drivers and complete invoices.
• Coordinate all incoming materials and goods to branches.
• Manage site inventory and stocktake.
• Assist the customer service team as required.
• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks.
