Land Transport in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on Transport Allocator to join our operations team at Richlands. You will manage the local fleet of 20+ drivers, coordinating collections and deliveries across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes strong allocation experience, clear communication with drivers and management, and careful data entry into our freight management system. Knowledge of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods is a plus, and weekend work may be required.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in a transport allocator role or similar.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with Drivers, Yardies, Administration & Management.
• High attention to detail, able to stay composed under pressure with excellent communication and teamwork.
• Sound computer skills, the ability to compose emails with customers, administration & management. Data entry into freight management system.
• Knowledge in Load Restraint & Dangerous Goods will be received favorably.
• Strong Geographical knowledge of Brisbane & Surrounding areas.

Responsabilidades

• Shed – Freight allocation & bay organization.
• Documentation – ensure all con-notes, RCTI, driver run sheets are entered correctly and organized efficiently.
• Ensure drivers are adhering to driver fatigue rules.
• Ensure trucks are preloaded and freight sorted for the next business day.
• Booking collection & delivery timeslots with customers.
• Answering the phones and redirecting incoming calls in a professional and engaging manner.
• Taking pick up enquiries and bookings when required.

Land Transport is a leading national Road Transport company who specialists in General Freight Transport. Operating for over 40 years, we are dedicated to putting our workers first, providing a safe work environment with job security.

We are currently looking for a hands on and experienced Transport Allocator to join our operations team in our Brisbane Depot located in Richlands.

You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager, working in our operations department at the heart of the business. This role is responsible for organizing the local fleet of 20+ (including body truck & combination drivers) through Brisbane and surrounding areas.

This role suits someone with strong allocation experience, strong geographical knowledge, excellent communication skills, strong organization skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

About You
