Job summary

Linfox is seeking an AM Transport Allocator for its Redbank, QLD site. You will coordinate transport movements, plan delivery schedules and ensure timely metropolitan dispatch operations. The role follows a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster with 12-hour shifts from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key tasks include communicating with drivers and customers, maintaining run sheets and compliance, and upholding Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport load planning or driver allocation is valued.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills; experience with TMS is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and stay organised.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport movements and delivery schedules for metropolitan dispatch.
• Maintain run sheets, delivery schedules and compliance documentation.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders; provide clear instructions.
• Inform customers about scheduled deliveries and any changes promptly; support safety standards.

What does the job look like?

Our Retail operation is seeking a AM Transport Allocator to support our Redbank, QLD site. You'll play a key role in coordinating transport movements, planning delivery schedules, and ensuring timely metropolitan dispatch operations. The role follows a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster, working 12-hour shifts between 2:00AM and 2:00PM. Key areas:

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times

• Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded
• Strong geographical knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas
• Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure, remaining organised and highly efficient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
