Job summary

Mainfreight in Narangba is seeking an enthusiastic Fleet Allocator to coordinate fleet movements, book time slots with Distribution Centres and Retail stores, and ensure residential deliveries are scheduled accurately.

You will work with the Transport Manager and local drivers to meet customer requirements, manage time pressures, and contribute to a high standard of service within Brisbane Metropolitan and regional areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (planning/scheduling) is preferred.
• Decisive and able to act at pace.
• Comfortable working with computers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Operational knowledge of the Brisbane Metropolitan and regional areas.

Responsibilities

• Booking in time slots with Distribution Centres and Retail stores.
• Booking in residential deliveries with customers.
• Ensure all book in times/dates are met.
• Working alongside the Allocators to plan the pick up and delivery runs for our local drivers.
• Liaising directly with our drivers to ensure that customer requirements are communicated.
• Ensuring quality service is provided to our customers by our fleet at all times.

Job description

Our Narangba Transport team is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to take the position of Fleet Allocator.We are looking for a team player to co-ordinate fleet movements and ensure timeslot and residential deliveries are booked in correctly with the relevant retail stores and Distribution Centres. Time management is a priority and the ability to work under pressure is a must in this position.This role works closely with the Transport Manager and our local drivers to achieve the desired outcome.

• Booking in time slots with Distribution Centres and Retail stores.
• Booking in residential deliveries with customers.
• Ensure all book in times/dates are met.
• Working alongside the Allocators to plan the pick up and delivery runs for our local drivers
• Liaising directly with our drivers to ensure that customer requirements are communicated
• Ensuring quality service is provided to our customers by our fleet at all times.

IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE:
