Job summary

Linfox's Retail operation in Parkinson, QLD is seeking an AM Transport Allocator to coordinate transport movements, plan delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch.

The role features a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster with 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ideal candidates will have experience in transport load planning, familiarity with TMS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport load planning and driver/fleet allocation is highly regarded.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills; experience with TMS is highly regarded.
• Strong geographical knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, stay organized and efficient.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport movements and plan delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely metropolitan dispatch operations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders with clear instructions.
• Maintain run sheets, delivery schedules and compliance records.
• Support Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.

What does the job look like?

Our Retail operation is seeking a AM Transport Allocator to support our Parkinson, QLD site. You'll play a key role in coordinating transport movements, planning delivery schedules, and ensuring timely metropolitan dispatch operations. The role follows a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster, working 12-hour shifts between 5:00AM and 5:00PM. Key areas:

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
