Job summary

Royal Automobile Club of WA Inc. is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist in West Perth. The role manages complex liability and recovery claims, coordinates reinsurance activities, and supports Home Claims colleagues to deliver exceptional member service.

The ideal candidate brings relationship management skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail, with familiarity in insurance contracts and legislation. A Certificate IV or Diploma in General Insurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex liability and recovery claims.
• Handle reinsurance activities including daily management, monitoring and notifications.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with legal advisors, solicitors and service providers.
• Provide guidance and support to Home Claims Specialists, Home Assessors and Team Leaders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to maximise claim recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with claims guidelines, service standards and the Insurance Code of Practice.
