Job summary

RAC is seeking a dedicated Liability Claims Specialist in Western Australia to manage complex home liability and recovery claims on a 12-month contract/secondment, with potential for permanency. You will support Home Claims teams, collaborate with legal advisors, and drive recoveries while upholding RAC’s service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex liability and recovery claims with a proactive and member-focused approach.
• Handle reinsurance activities, including daily management, monitoring, and notifications.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with legal advisors, solicitors, and service providers.
• Provide guidance and support to Home Claims Specialists, Home Assessors, and Team Leaders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to maximise claim recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with claims guidelines, service standards, and the Insurance Code of Practice.
