Job summary

City of Melville is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Customer Service Officers to join our LeisureFit team. As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you'll help create exceptional customer experiences while supporting day-to-day operations across our LeisureFit centres.

This is a community-focused role within a dynamic recreation environment, contributing to the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Cash handling and reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, professional and responsive customer service.
• Assisting customers with memberships, programs, facilities and services.
• Promoting LeisureFit products and services to current and prospective members.
• Managing cash handling, reconciliations and banking procedures.
• Responding to enquiries through the membership’s inbox.
• Maintaining a welcoming, clean and well-presented reception and public areas.
• Supporting merchandise sales and stock control.
• Performing data entry and administrative tasks as required.
