Job summary

Cumberland City Council is recruiting a Casual Customer Service Officer – Aquatic Centres to provide a high-quality customer experience at our swim centres in Merrylands. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and bookings, supporting across council sites as needed.

The role requires WWCC and HLTAID011 First Aid, along with strong communication, teamwork and time management skills to handle inquiries and complaints effectively.

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid required.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organisational ability.
• Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints.
• Experience in database management and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a quality customer experience and act as the first point of contact for swim centre enquiries and bookings.
• Support across Council swim centres and assist across sites as required.
