Job summary

The Florey in Melbourne is seeking a Gifts in Wills Program Manager to lead and grow our legacy giving program. You will identify prospective bequest donors, steward supporters and shape future bequest income while collaborating with senior researchers and professional advisers.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will own strategy development, program delivery and stakeholder communications to build a sustainable pipeline of future support and impact for medical research.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in gifts in wills, major gifts, philanthropy or relationship fundraising.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience managing complex and sensitive donor conversations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Gifts in Wills strategy and annual plans.
• Build, manage and grow a pipeline of prospective bequest supporters.
• Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with donors and their families.
• Design and deliver targeted marketing and engagement initiatives.
• Manage estate administration and donor communications.
• Monitor program performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the Institute at events, seminars and networking activities.
• Provide strategic advice and reporting to senior leaders and governance groups.
