Job summary

Scope Australia is seeking a Gifts in Wills Officer (part-time) in Melbourne to nurture relationships with supporters considering legacy giving. You will guide conversations, deliver stewardship, and grow Scope's planned giving program within a collaborative Philanthropy & Fundraising team.

You will manage a portfolio of bequest supporters, liaise with solicitors, and ensure accurate CRM records while aligning with Scope's values of respect and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, donor relations, or relationship management.
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to balance fundraising with administration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with gifts in wills supporters.
• Deliver personalised stewardship and engagement activities to inspire long-term connection.
• Identify opportunities to grow Gifts in Wills income and supporter engagement.
• Manage a portfolio of supporters using relationship-based fundraising principles.
• Support estate administration processes and liaise with solicitors/executors when required.
• Maintain accurate records within Scope's CRM and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Philanthropy & Fundraising and the wider organisation to improve outcomes.
• Contribute to campaigns that raise awareness of gifts in wills and legacy giving.
