Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Learning Specialist at Range 3 to lead disability inclusion and high-quality teaching across the school. The role will involve modelling exemplary practice, coaching staff, and contributing to whole-school improvement.

You will work within our learning specialist framework, supporting teachers to deliver inclusive education, track student wellbeing and achievement data, and lead professional learning communities across campuses.

Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Postgraduate level initial teacher education program accreditation requirements may apply.
• Demonstrated ability to model high-impact teaching practices and use data to inform practice.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including through teaching demonstrations.
• Lead and model the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning and feedback to teachers and staff.
• Mentor and coach teachers and supervise student teachers.
