• SC1 Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching across literacy and numeracy.
• SC2 Demonstrated expertise in high-impact teaching strategies and using data to monitor learning growth.
• SC3 Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents.
• SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, colleagues, parents and community.
• SC5 Ability to reflect on practice and facilitate school-based professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including teaching demonstration lessons.
• Work with school leaders to develop a shared view of effective teaching practice.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning and feedback processes for observation and peer collaboration.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and provide feedback.
• Mentor and coach teachers to improve practice and outcomes.
• Oversee development of professional learning structures and processes across the school.
