Qantas is seeking a Learning Manager based in Sydney to lead the development and delivery of learning strategies that drive operational excellence and customer outcomes across the Group. You will manage a team of training professionals and partner with senior leaders to align programs with business goals.

Using adult learning principles and innovative methodologies, you’ll govern training programs, ensure compliance, and measure impact while balancing offshore and onshore delivery and budgets.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience leading learning, development, or training.
• Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education or related discipline.
• Experience in an operational environment, preferably aviation.
• Strategic business partnering and influence at senior leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods.
• Project management and change management expertise.
• Exceptional facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing demands across onshore and offshore operations.
• High proficiency in MS Office and digital learning literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy across Customer Care and Recoveries.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing L&D guidance and solutions.
• Drive training governance, framework development, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee planning, forecasting, budgeting and resource management for training programs.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and project stakeholders to balance delivery with operations.
• Lead learning transformation programs leveraging technology and innovative methods.
• Ensure all learning solutions meet regulatory, safety, service and operational requirements.
• Conduct external benchmarking and industry scanning to adopt best practices.
