Job summary

Sharp & Carter invites applications for a Learning and Development Advisor on a 6-month contract to support learning and competency systems across the group. You will help run inductions, code of conduct and workplace behaviour training, and manage apprenticeship enrollments with RTOs and training providers.

You will report to the Learning and Development Manager, with a hybrid Brisbane-based work pattern and strong potential for extension as the team grows nationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or a similar industry with both office and field workforces.
• Around five years in HR/learning and development environment.
• Confidence picking up new systems quickly.
• The drive to take a piece of work and run with it, while keeping your manager in the loop.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and competency systems across the group, often working in more than one system at a time.
• Help run group-wide programs, including inductions, code of conduct and workplace behaviour training.
• Manage apprenticeship and traineeship enrolments with RTOs, GTOs and training providers.
• Support the graduate program, school engagement, leadership and mentoring initiatives.
• Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion team on programs such as women in construction.
