Job summary

Auto & General is seeking a Learning Specialist to act as SME for Sales and Service, designing, developing and delivering tailored learning solutions. You will build capability for S&S teams, including offshore operations, ensuring content is accurate and engaging to support departmental goals.

You will create materials, deliver sessions, coach teams, and work with stakeholders to measure impact, maintain records and promote a culture of continuous learning across the division.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a Sales and Service or equivalent role.
• Minimum two years' experience in a leadership or coaching capacity.
• Demonstrated facilitation skills for delivering engaging learning experiences both in-person workshops and virtual settings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and contribute to understanding learning needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and collaborate across teams.
• Proven ability to manage your own workload and priorities, work collaboratively and adapt to changing demands.
• A proactive and curious mindset, with a genuine commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
• Prior experience within the Banking, Finance or Insurance industry.
• Experience working in a dynamic service operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Acting as an SME in the development of bespoke learning requirements for Sales and Service teams.
• Designing, developing and updating engaging learning materials including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules and job aids.
• Delivering high-quality training sessions, workshops and coaching to S&S teams (including offshore).
• Facilitating interactive learning experiences using diverse delivery methods.
• Coordinating with the Training and Capability Coordinator for scheduling and resources.
• Collaborating with the Senior Manager, Learning and Capability to align training with strategic objectives.
• Providing ongoing support and coaching to learners and addressing queries.
• Evaluating program effectiveness through feedback, assessments and metrics.
• Staying up to date with processes, systems, products and compliance to keep content current.
• Maintaining accurate records of training delivery, attendance and assessment results.
• Champ ioning a positive, continuous learning culture within the Sales and Service division.
• Adhering to organisational policies and brand guidelines in learning content creation and delivery.
