Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking a proactive Training Specialist to strengthen workforce capability and drive training compliance across the business in Australia. The role combines learning and development expertise with technical training knowledge and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver effective training solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

You will drive learning systems improvements, competency management, and ensure staff have the skills to perform safely and effectively.

Qualifications

Qualifications in L&D, Education, HR or related discipline with experience in technical training, competency management or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of competency frameworks, compliance requirements and training record management.
Experience implementing and improving LMS platforms, including reporting, data migration and user adoption.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain competency frameworks, training matrices and technical learning pathways aligned with operational and compliance requirements.
Conduct training needs analyses with operational leaders, HSEQ and SMEs.
Support LMS, including data migration, reporting and user adoption.
Maintain compliant and audit-ready training and competency records.
Coordinate development and delivery of technical, mandatory and role-specific training programs.
Support VOC, workplace assessments and other competency assurance activities.
Identify opportunities to improve training processes, learning technologies and workforce capability.
Coordinate training projects and initiatives, engaging stakeholders across the business.
