Job summary

Loco Love is seeking a Business Improvement Manager to join our Byron Bay team. You’ll map and analyse production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement practical improvements to boost productivity and quality.

You’ll lead Production Team Leads, improve SOPs, and drive a culture of accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement across the factory floor. With 3+ years in process improvement or manufacturing operations and a solid Lean and Six Sigma background, you’ll thrive on

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in process improvement or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with process mapping, value-add analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment with HACCP/GMP/GHP.
• Experience leading or supervising production teams.
• Experience developing and improving SOPs and standardised work.
• Confidence working with production data and inventory systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Map current processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and implement practical improvements.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Coach Production Leads and team members to build capability and accountability.
• Develop, review and maintain SOPs, work instructions and standardised processes.
• Analyse production, inventory and labour data to drive decisions and measure impact.
• Identify resource, labour and capacity constraints and address challenges.
• Champion GMP, HACCP, food safety and WHS standards on site.
• Improve information flow so the right people receive timely data.
• Reduce waste across production, inventory, labour and costs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and curiosity.
