Job summary

CSL Behring in Broadmeadows, Melbourne is seeking two Operational Excellence Managers to drive continuous improvement and embed the CSL Operating System across a major manufacturing site. You will lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, coach cross-functional teams and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable value in safety, quality and productivity.

We welcome an experienced professional with deep Lean Six Sigma expertise or an emerging leader with strong learning agility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, data science, business, economics or related.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, process management, continuous improvement or Operational Excellence.
• Demonstrated involvement in continuous improvement initiatives with measurable value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Experience coaching cross-functional teams through change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Embed and advance the CSL Operating System across the site.
• Develop and deliver Operational Excellence roadmaps aligned with site priorities and business needs.
• Lead or coach complex continuous improvement initiatives and structured problem-solving activities.
• Support Process Centric Teams, tiered meetings, visual management, Standard Work and Leader Standard Work.
• Facilitate workshops and coach teams in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Use value stream mapping and analyse data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish sustainable continuous improvement routines through Gemba walks and coaching.
• Use data and digital tools to visualize performance and support decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Deliver measurable value in safety, quality, productivity and operational performance.
• Share knowledge across Broadmeadows site and CSL’s global Operational Excellence community.
