Job summary

AEMO is seeking a Lead – Process Excellence to drive the organisation's capability in process excellence, partnering with teams to understand current work, identify pain points and translate improvements into practical changes.

The role is hands-on and includes leading a small team of two, while remaining actively involved in delivery and stakeholder relationship-building to ensure measurable value across projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in process excellence or continuous improvement within a complex organisation.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and translate input into practical improvements.
• Strong skills in process mapping, analysis, redesign and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops to map current-state processes and design future-state solutions.
• Establish and embed a Process Excellence framework, governance and capability building.
• Lead process mapping, analysis and redesign initiatives to simplify work and improve efficiency.
• Build a pipeline of improvement opportunities and prioritise quick wins with longer-term initiatives.
• Lead and support a small Process Excellence team while contributing directly to delivery.
