Australian Energy Market Operator in Melbourne seeks a Lead – Process Excellence to build and lead the process excellence capability. You will map current processes, identify pain points, and design practical future-state solutions while leading a small team.

You will establish frameworks, governance and drive measurable improvements across the organisation through hands-on delivery and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in process excellence, continuous improvement, or operational excellence within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and translating stakeholder input into practical process improvements.
• Strong capability across process mapping, process analysis, process redesign and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience establishing or working within process excellence frameworks, including governance and prioritisation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to build trusted relationships through change.
• Experience leading and coaching others while contributing to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to map current-state processes and design future-state solutions.
• Establish and embed the Process Excellence framework, governance, and capability-building activities.
• Lead process mapping, analysis and redesign initiatives to improve efficiency and stakeholder experiences.
• Build and prioritise a pipeline of improvement opportunities with quick wins and longer-term initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to understand process maturity, ownership and sustainable improvements.
• Lead and support a small Process Excellence team while contributing to delivery.
