Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a strategic leader to drive Australia's energy future. You will translate long-term strategy into actionable 1–3 year plans, lead enterprise-wide planning, and ensure alignment with financial and investment objectives.

Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring will be essential in this high-impact role. You will report to the General Manager Strategy and work within a high-performing team to shape enterprise priorities

Qualificações

• Experience in strategy development or management consulting for energy or regulated utilities.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and prioritise initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and complex challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, with senior-level material preparation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead annual strategic and corporate planning, translating long-term strategy into 1–3 year priorities.
• Align divisional plans with financial outcomes and investment decisions.
• Develop compelling justifications linking initiatives to stakeholder value and organisational outcomes.
• Oversee strategic performance reporting and drive continuous improvements in planning and reporting frameworks.
• Prepare high-quality Board and Executive strategy materials while mentoring junior team members.
