Job summary
AEMO is seeking a Team Lead – Commissioning to join the Onboarding & Connections team. You will lead a group of technical specialists responsible for commissioning and connecting a diverse portfolio of generation and large-load projects across Australia.
This role offers remote-capable work with base in any Australian capital city. You will drive technical excellence, develop high-performing teams and collaborate with developers, network service providers and regulators to advance the energy
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with power systems expertise.
- Proven experience leading technical teams on large projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technical specialists to deliver commissioning and connection projects.
- Provide guidance on commissioning, system stability and performance standards.
- Partner with developers, regulators and industry stakeholders to resolve complex challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement of commissioning processes and industry outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships and communicate complex concepts clearly.
