Job summary

International Hotel Services in Sydney CBD is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and uphold the highest cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms and public areas.

You will conduct detailed inspections, provide clear guidance to attendants, support training and development, identify and address maintenance or safety issues, and promote safe work practices while maintaining efficient workflow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping with supervisory or inspection responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Experience in 4- to 5-star hotel environments preferred.
• Effective communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Provide clear guidance and instruction to housekeeping attendants on proper cleaning techniques and service expectations.
• Support the training and development of team members to improve quality and consistency.
• Identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, or service gaps and communicate them to the Site Manager.
• Ensure correct use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain strong attention to detail across all inspected rooms and hotel areas.
• Support the team in maintaining efficient workflow and consistent housekeeping standards.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with WHS and infection control guidelines.
• Act as a point of support for housekeepers when questions or issues arise during service.
