Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Housekeeping Services Supervisor to lead a large, diverse team across a five‑star property, reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. You will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest experience through effective supervision, training and engagement.

You'll supervise peak periods, conduct room spot checks, address guest concerns in a diplomatic manner and collaborate across departments to maintain exceptional room presentation and operational

Qualifications

• Previous Supervisory experience in a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership skills with an eye for detail.
• Passion for hospitality with a can-do attitude.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
• Flexible availability to work across a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all relevant guest information is shared with all Team Members - VIPs, Cots, Rollaway beds
• Support and assist the team during peak periods
• Perform room spot checks and ensure all rooms are checked to hotel standards
• Resolve guest concerns using a pleasant and diplomatic approach
• Monitor and report maintenance requests where required
