SMIKTECK is seeking experienced and proactive L2 Engineers to join our Managed IT Services team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support and ensuring business continuity for clients across Australia.

You will handle escalated issues, manage IT infrastructure, and collaborate with L1/L3 teams to provide secure, reliable IT solutions. The position offers exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, and cybersecurity initiatives, with opportunities for technical growth and

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in IT support or Managed Services environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
Experience with networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
Azure preferred.
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide second-level technical support for desktops, servers, and network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage Microsoft 365, cloud environments, and backup systems.
Assist with cybersecurity implementations and monitoring.
Support server maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.
Document solutions and maintain accurate service records.
Ensure SLAs and response times are consistently met.
