Whizdom is seeking a motivated Junior Operations Support Graduate in Melbourne to join our IT Operations team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology environments while developing core skills across infrastructure, networking, monitoring, incident management, and IT service operations.

You will work with experienced professionals to maintain system availability, monitor critical services, and provide first-level support to internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Operations Support Graduate to join a dynamic IT Operations team based in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology environments while developing core skills across infrastructure, networking, monitoring, incident management, and IT service operations.

Working closely with experienced operations and support professionals, you will assist in maintaining system availability, monitoring critical services, resolving operational issues, and ensuring a high level of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and looking to establish a long-term career in IT Operations and Infrastructure Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and networks to ensure operational stability.

Required Technical Skills

• Awareness of IT security principles and best practices.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, or similar solutions.
• Familiarity with ticketing and incident management platforms such as Jira, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or similar.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to monitor systems and identify operational issues.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and service management practices.
