Job summary

Prospex Recruiting seeks a Junior IT Systems Administrator in Victoria to join our team. The first three months are training-focused, after which you will contribute to core IT needs and internal service delivery.

You will resolve hardware, software and access issues, assist with onboarding, deploy software, manage assets and follow security procedures in a collaborative, in-person team setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Windows or macOS, networking, user accounts and common workplace applications.
• An organised approach to troubleshooting and clear communication.
• Hands-on experience using AI to build or improve a script, app or workflow (university/home projects welcome).
• A current IT qualification or equivalent practical learning is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Help staff resolve hardware, software, account and connectivity issues and keep clear support records.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, laptop setup, access permissions, software deployment and asset records.
• Follow established security procedures and monitor tasks with timely escalation when needed.

Enough understanding to explain your work, test the output and recognise when you need help.

An IT qualification or equivalent practical learning is welcome.

A current Police Clearance Certificate and Construction White Card are required for the role.
