Job summary

Eye and Retina Specialists in Waterloo, NSW is seeking a Junior Medical Receptionist / Specialist Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will support medical reception duties and assist our principal medical specialist, with opportunities to learn new skills and participate in research activities.

Junior Medical Reception / Specialist Assistant

An exciting opportunity arises for a medical receptionist/ specialist assistant to join our team at Eye and Retina Specialists in the growing area in Waterloo/Zetland NSW.

You will be an important member of the team, assisting with medical reception duties and as an assistant to our principal medical specialist. Significant opportunities to learn new skills, engage in career development and assist with research activities. Part-time work initially.

What you will be doing

• Greeting patients, answering emails, processing billings
• Stock-take and ordering
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry and record keeping
• Opportunity to learn new skills including ophthalmic assisting and beauty/aesthetics treatments for the right candidate.

Other

• Working closely as assistant to our principal medical specialist
• Involvement in organising social events and activities
