Job summary

Prime Creative Media is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join its events team, focusing on mining and resources portfolio across exhibitions, sponsorships and digital opportunities. You’ll grow relationships, generate new business and present tailored solutions to clients.

Ideal candidates are energetic, confident in conversations with new contacts, and eager to learn within a fast-paced sales environment. Training and strong team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development is preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Proactively generate new business through outbound calling, meetings, referrals and networking.
• Present and pitch exhibition, sponsorship, media and digital opportunities to clients.
• Travel to meet customers and build industry relationships as needed.
• Understand client objectives and challenges to propose value-driven solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to close and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Collaborate with editorial, events, marketing and production teams to deliver outcomes.
