Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking an experienced ITSM & Systems Administration Specialist to support a major Federal Government ICT capability program in Canberra. The role focuses on evaluating, selecting, implementing and transitioning ITSM solutions to ensure operational readiness.

The successful candidate will apply ITIL best practices, manage incidents and changes, support CMDB activities, and collaborate with ICT, infrastructure and service desk teams to deliver reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• ITSM implementation and systems administration experience.
• Strong ITIL and ITSM best-practice knowledge.
• Experience in incident, problem, change and service request management.
• Knowledge of Asset and Configuration Management including CMDB.
• Experience gathering requirements for ITSM solution implementations.
• Ability to develop/configure workflows, automation scripts and service catalogues.
• Experience data migration, process mapping and operational readiness.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation and coordination.
• Active NV2 security clearance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyse ITSM requirements and recommend implementation.
• Gather/document business, technical, operational ITSM requirements.
• Support vendor-managed service implementation and coordinate stakeholders.
• Support incident, problem, change and service request management.
• Assist data migration, process mapping, configuration and CMDB activities.
• Develop workflows, automation scripts and service catalogue offerings.
• Support risk assessments, governance, reporting and service transition.
• Monitor service performance and contribute to continual service improvement.
