Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Canberra is seeking an ICT Support Specialist who will provide advanced technical support across hardware, software, networks and end-user issues while maintaining the reliability and security of CDC ICT infrastructure.

This onsite role combines senior service desk duties with systems administration, mentoring within the ICT team and collaboration with vendors on projects and improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in senior service desk or ICT Support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune.
• Strong networking knowledge: LAN/WAN/DNS/TCP/IP.
• Experience managing ICT assets and participating in infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT support for hardware, software, network, application, and end-user issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents with accurate ticketing and communication.
• Administer core infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, file services.
• Manage ICT assets: laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, MDM, Office apps.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects and improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within the ICT team.
