Job summary

Active Tree Services is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist with everyday IT issues and device setup, supporting office staff and field crews across Australia from Edwardstown. You will gain exposure to Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, and our in-house applications while handling requests to resolution.

The role involves occasional rural travel, involvement in IT projects, and a monthly weekend roster with remote standby from home between 7am and 3pm on both days.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT experience or training/qualification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Exposure to Active Directory and Entra ID is helpful.
• Desirable understanding of Intune to support mobile devices.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Logical, organized mindset with determination to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with everyday technical issues and set up/troubleshoot devices.
• Manage requests through to resolution and support field crews across Australia.
• Contribute to IT projects and process improvements.
• Occasional rural travel for onsite support.
• Join a monthly weekend roster and provide remote standby support from home (7am–3pm) on weekends.
