Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an IT Support professional to perform remote and onsite user support, daily system maintenance, backups, and desktop device configuration. The role involves coordinating with third-party vendors and travel to client sites as needed.

Candidates should have Level 1–2 IT support experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft OS and networking, and good communication. Weekend/after-hours work may be required; Australian citizen with a valid driver’s license and own

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 IT Support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, applications, networking, general software/hardware.
• Active Directory; Installation and configuration of PCs, thin clients, servers and network equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer focused approach and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite user support.
• Conduct daily systems maintenance and performance checks.
• Perform backup checks and remediation.
• Install and configure desktop devices; manage hardware.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and travel to client sites for assistance.

Job description

The successful candidate will enjoy performing the following tasks on a daily basis:

• Remote and onsite user support and assistance;
• Daily systems maintenance and performance checks;
• Backup checks and remediation;
• Desktop device installation, configuration and support;
• Liaison with 3rd party vendors; and Travelling to client sites to provide technical assistance.

In addition:

• You must be an Australian Citizen
• You must hold a valid Australian driver's license;
• Have unrestricted access to your own vehicle; and
• Some weekend and after hours work maybe required.

Qualifications
