Job summary

Western Work Force – Sydney Northern Suburbs NSW is seeking an IT Support Technician - Level 1 on a full-time contract. The role provides IT support, applications install, troubleshooting networking/connectivity issues and administrative services to our client.

Key duties include resolving incoming calls within SLA, user administration across AD, JD Edwards, MS Office 365, Exchange Online and Teams, and desktop/laptop deployment and repair.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
• IT qualification or equivalent desirable.
• Familiar with JD Edwards, MS Office 365, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams and other applications.
• Experience in connectivity issues: Cellular, Satellite, WiFi, LAN, VPN, xDSL, Fibre, NBN.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Motivated with a desire to succeed.
• Australian Drivers Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming support calls and resolve within SLA.
• Manage user administration for Active Directory, JD Edwards, MS Office 365, MS Exchange Online, MS Teams and other apps.
• Deploy, support, and repair desktops and laptops.
• Support peripheral devices and handheld devices.
• Install, upgrade, configure and support applications.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and network issues (Cellular, Satellite, WiFi, LAN, VPN, xDSL, Fibre, NBN).
• Organise warranty and repairs for faulty devices.
• Manage purchasing, stock and asset management.
