Strikeforce is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our Mount Waverley team. Reporting to the CIO, you will handle day-to-day IT support across the company, including hardware, software, networks, and user accounts.

You will troubleshoot issues, document procedures, liaise with developers and stakeholders, and contribute to rollouts of new applications. The role offers hybrid work with office days and opportunities for career progression within a global organisation.

Formación

• Certificate, Diploma, Degree or equivalent in IT or Computer Sciences is essential.
• 3+ years IT experience in similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software.
• Ability to explain solutions to non-technical users and work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Install and configure computer hardware, OS and applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose faults.
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and reports.
• Set up new user accounts and reset passwords.
• Manage multiple open support incidents and liaise with stakeholders.

About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and hands on IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in our Mount Waverley Office. Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for the day to day support of all IT systems within the company, which will include but are not limited to:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Testing and evaluating new technology as well as supporting the roll-out of new applications
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• Managing multiple open support incidents and liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users and professionals, e.g., software developers
• Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

About you:

• A thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users
• A demonstrated independent and passionate interest in all things technology
• A detail-oriented working style and the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Certificate, Diploma, Degree or equivalent in IT or Computer Sciences is essential
• 3+ years IT experience in similar roles
