JBS English Academy in Riverview, QLD seeks a Student Support Officer to assist international students from arrival through wellbeing and success. You will help connect students to internal and external supports and ensure compliance with international education requirements.

The role blends welfare, administration, engagement activities and compliance support, offering a dynamic environment. Experience in student services and CRICOS/ESOS familiarity are valued.

Competenze

• Experience in student services, international education, ELICOS, RTO, or similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage with students primarily in English.
• Excellent administration and record management with attention to detail.
• Experience using systems such as aXcelerate, PRISMS, SharePoint and MS Office.
• Understanding of student welfare, privacy and escalation practices.
• Knowledge of CRICOS, ESOS and National Code requirements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service.

Mansioni

• Provide front-line support and guidance to international students.
• Help students access internal and external support services, building confidence and independence.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities for new students.
• Organise student events, excursions, graduations, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Monitor attendance and course progress, support intervention for at-risk students.
• Maintain accurate student records in aXcelerate, SharePoint and other systems.
• Prepare student correspondence and documentation.
• Support CRICOS, ESOS and National Code compliance requirements.
• Assist with lifecycle administration including leave, medical certificates, transfers and completions.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
