JBS Australia is seeking a Student Support Officer for the English Academy in Riverview. You will be a key contact for international students, welcoming arrival and supporting wellbeing, engagement and compliance with international education requirements.

This role combines student welfare, administration, engagement activities and compliance support, contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in student services, international education, ELICOS, RTO, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of CRICOS, ESOS and National Code requirements, or ability to quickly develop this knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide front-line support and guidance to international students.
• Assist students to access internal and external support services while building confidence and independence.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities for new students.
• Organise student events, excursions, graduations and wellbeing initiatives.
• Monitor attendance and course progress records and support intervention processes for at-risk students.
• Maintain accurate student records within aXcelerate, SharePoint and other approved systems.
• Prepare student correspondence and documentation.
• Support CRICOS, ESOS and National Code compliance requirements.
• Assist with student lifecycle administration including leave requests, medical certificates, transfers and course completions.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and culturally inclusive learning environment.
