Job summary

Australian Fire Supplies Pty Ltd is seeking an Internal Salesperson to join our team in Sydney. The role involves processing customer orders via phone, email and counter sales, providing quotations with accurate pricing and actively promoting products from our range.

You will also arrange supplier stock, ensure paperwork flows between sales, office and store, and coordinate transport pickups and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

Processing of customer orders via phone, email and counter sales

Improve product knowledge and learn technical specifications of all products

Provide quotations for customers when required with accurate pricing and appropriate products

Actively promote the sale of all products and be alert for opportunities to promote the sale of other products within the company's product range

Placing of supplier orders for stock shortages and customer requirements

Ensure the correct flow of paperwork is maintained between sales, office and store

Receiving of incoming stock where needed

Arranging transport pickups and deliveries

About you

Requisite knowledge and experience or aptitude for the role

Reasonable assistance to team members in other areas such as accounts or warehouse may be required from time to time
