Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a sales- and engineering-oriented professional in NSW to analyze market insights and customer purchasing behavior, executing sales plans aligned with strategy and targets. Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Marine Engineering).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with CRM and digital tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior and execute sales plans generated by business division with alignment with strategy and targets.
• Primarily focus on internal customer engagement, with some external visits, ensuring a customer-centric approach through understanding needs and effectively communicating the value of our products and services.
• Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customer needs emphasising the unique selling points and follow up.
• Actively follow up of quotes to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it matches the customer's needs.
• Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process with advanced technical support (including sizing & selection).
• Document all information retrieved from customer during interactions regarding competitors, forecast and all others to contribute to business development.
