Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a commercially minded engineer to analyze market insights and customer buying behavior, and to execute sales plans aligned with our strategy. The role focuses on internal customer engagement with occasional external visits to communicate the value of Alfa Laval products and services.

You will develop complex, value-based quotes that reflect customer needs, follow up on proposals, and provide direct support during quotation with sizing and selection guidance, documenting

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Marine Engineering).
• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using CRM and digital tools to manage pipeline, forecast and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand market insights and customers’ buying behavior and execute sales plans aligned with strategy and targets.
• Engage with internal customers and occasional external visits to communicate value of products and services.
• Develop complex quotes reflecting customer needs and follow up on proposals.
• Provide direct support to customers during quotation process with sizing and selection guidance.
• Document customer interactions regarding competitors, forecast and opportunities to support business development.
